Whatever activity you do, you should consider complementing your sport with Vitality Pilates.

You should wear comfortable gym attire or close-fitting sportswear and bring along a clean pair of grip socks for hygiene purposes. Shoes are not required.
For our Tai Seng studio, please bring along a sports towel.It is necessary for you to purchase a towel or grip socks if you forget to bring them along. These are available at the following prices:

Pilates is a safe conditioning program ideal for body rehabilitation. Our instructors at Vitality Pilates tailor safe drills specifically to help you regain your strength and flexibility without aggravating your injuries. With consistency, you will be able to get back into your pain-free state and be stronger than before. That said, we recommend that you seek medical advice from a doctor or physiotherapist for acute injuries.

Building a strong core, back and pelvic floor muscles will help support your body through pregnancy and labour. With better control of your muscles, you will have an easier birth and faster recovery. We understand that every pregnancy is different and we modify our prenatal pilates exercises according to your changing body.
It is advisable to start your pre-natal pilates only after your first trimester and you may continue until just before delivery, with your doctor’s clearance.

Yes! Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) is very common during pregnancy and postpartum period. If left untreated, it can potentially lead to poor core stabilization, pelvic floor dysfunction, and back pain. At Vitality Pilates, we strengthen the deep core muscles in your postpartum body and manage your Diastasis Recti to help you lead the lifestyle you used to prior to pregnancy.
